Appearance

Flow’s Cookies has all the makings of a beautiful flower. The structure, density, color, trichome coverage and cure are all on point. This is an extremely sticky flower. Buds stick to themselves, stick to your finger, stick to grinder teeth. I highly recommend using a toothless grinder with this flower to preserve the trichomes and have a more fluffy consistency. The only thing this one doesn’t have is some purple, but that isn’t necessary to earn points when it already looks like some classic dank. Random sidebar, it’s kinda sad to see how under-appreciated traditional green flower is in the Cali marketplace.
Nose

I’ve never tried FLOW, but I have tried Legendary OG a few times. Flow’s Cookies retains the sweetness of LOG, but that sweetness is paired with a dominant and pungent earthy lead. Trace elements of it remind me of Beleafer’s LBMAC. The remainder is a unique scent in the cbd world. Fresh out the calyx container the flower is muted. After glass jarring for roughly 4 weeks now it’s become a much more present flower in the room and taste buds.
The Smoking Experience (Taste and Effect)

I rolled 1.3 grams in a RAW Black Organic hemp paper. As mentioned earlier, the cure is perfect and sticky. The ground up material easily holds together and forms inside the paper. The dry hit is noticeably earthy, noticeably sweet. It’s almost like a wine.
Lighting the j with the hemp wick, the earthy sweetness presents itself almost immediately. It’s one of the more flavorful offerings that I’ve tried from FG. After about 2/3 of the joint there is some minor harshness from exhales. It doesn’t burn, but feels somewhat itchy. It burns a nice light gray ash and produces a beautiful resin ring near the cherry.
Effects began to creep in the background 1/2 way through. A minor head change is paired up with a more potent upper body relaxation. By the end of the joint, the head change has grown much more intense. If you have a lower tolerance, your mileage may vary as to how you enjoy the cerebral effects. For myself, it’s a feeling that encourages rest, but I could also stay up and get things done. Smoking before going to the grocery store was a pleasant stony experience. However, I could easily see someone with a lower tolerance or who doesn’t enjoy the feeling of thc having a bad time with this one.
Final Thoughts and Shelf Placement

Flow’s Cookies is a solid flower and one that I think will check every box for a cannabis aficionado. You want something pretty? You got it. You want something that smells good? You got it. You want something with some taste on it that’ll also rock your brain a little bit? You got it. Just make sure your body agrees with the thca experience. Without a doubt, one worth checking out when available. However, immediately remove the flower from the calyx container and put it in a glass jar.
