I paid for this flower. Though I am in contact with the owner of Beleafer, the company has no influence whatsoever on the contents on my review nor were they allowed to preview it prior to public release. The only money exchanged was me paying for my order.
Appearance

Lemon Cookie Dough is a beautiful flower. Not an exotic purple, but classic green cannabis. The looks will remind you of a sativa dominant cannabis structure. Nice fat buds with a somewhat loose structure. It appeared that this pack did have some mixed phenotypes, some of the flowers seemed more mature than other (ie dominant orange pistils vs dominant white pistils). Overall, it has a look that competes with many flowers currently on the market.
Nose

Once you pop the pack open a pungent sweet lemon aroma presents itself with a unique dough & OG undertone. It has some similarities to Beleafer’s Legendary Banana Mac due to the Legendary OG genetics, just not quite as loud. Once you grind the flower down, the nose profile doesn’t change, but it does become bolder. It’s a very pleasant scent that I could easily see being a spray mist or a dressing for a salad.
Taste

The dry hit is virtually the same as the nose. Sweet, lemon citrus, dough, OG. It competes with a lot of Type I cannabis and, if louder, would easily compete with much of the top shelf Type I Cali cannabis in the market. Once you light the joint, you’re treated to a smooth and rather flavorful smoke. With each hit I was treated to a sweet lemon citrus/OG taste from every nostril exhale. The flower is also resinous and leaves a beautiful resin ring around the cherry of the joint. Expect a nice light colored ash as you take hits. Until I get one, I can only imagine that this flower tastes amazing in a vaporizer.
Effect

On Beleafer’s website they say to expect heavy mind and body effects. I agree with them. In terms of effects, to have such a wide CBDA:THCA ratio, it’s truly an effective flower. Sitting down and enjoying a 1.5-2g joint, I was greeted with quite a noticeable, but functional buzz. I would compare it to having 1-3 Truly beverages in terms of strength, but not the same type of effect at all. My body became relaxed and my mind became a bit more active, feeling motivated to write. It’s truly an enjoyable hybrid Type III experience. Users with a lower tolerance may want to take it slow and use a water pipe.
Final Thoughts and Shelf Placement

Beleafer is having a moment right now. When they first started promoting their cultivation on Reddit I had no idea that they’d soon become one of the leaders in the indoor living soil hemp market. Lemon Cookie Dough is a shining example of the direction hemp flower is going. The flowers a trimmed beautifully, they smell and taste great, and they’re effective. At the price point it’s the best deal going for indoor hemp flower of this quality. I picked up a 3.5g pack, but I can easily recommend the 7g. It’ll be a flower that you want to consume either by itself or mixed in with another flower you enjoy to mix flavor profiles. My 2 main critiques are that I’d like to see a pack entirely comprised of the mature phenotype and as always…THE LOUDER THE BETTER!!! Overall, I highly recommend you pick this one up. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
